Ma Bête

ERIS PARFUMS

$ 4.00

When Jean Cocteau debuted his beautiful black and white masterpiece “La Belle et la Bête” in 1946, Greta Garbo was in the audience. Like everyone who watches the film, she fell in love with La Bête (the Beast) and was upset when, at the end, he transforms into the handsome but boring Prince.

“Give me back my Beast (Ma Bête)!” she cried.

This was a perfect description of how ERIS PARFUMS creative director Barbara Herman felt about the animalic notes she’d fallen in love with in vintage perfume. And she wanted to bring back the beast in perfume.

Notes: Tunisian neroli, aldehydes, nutmeg, cypriol, styrax, jasmine sambac, Virginia cedar wood, patchouli, animalic notes
